Manchin sidestepped the question from Fox News about a possible run for the white house in 2024, but did praise the group that’s been pushing for a Third Party run in 2024. He said the group No Labels has been pushing hard for centrists and for what he calls common sense. Manchin took aim at what he calls “extremists” from both the right and Left, but when asked repeatedly about his possible run he told Fox “”Not ruling anything in, not ruling anything out.”

GOP presidential candidate Tim Scott [R-SC] was booed when he appeared today (Monday) on The View. When Scott praised Florida governor —and fellow presidential candidate- Ron DeSantis, Scott was booed by some members of The View’s live audience. Scott had defended DeSantis in his dealings with Disney over what Scott called our young kids and what they are being indoctrinated with.”

Israel’s military says a gunbattle involving an Egyptian police officer in southern Israel along the Egyptian border has left three soldiers dead

It was a rare instance of deadly violence along the frontier. The army said Saturday that the officer was in Israeli territory when he killed two soldiers during a drug-smuggling attempt. Their bodies were found hours later. The army said the attacker was killed in another shootout in which a third solider was also killed. Troops were searching for other possible assailants. The attacker infiltrated from Egypt. Israel and Egypt signed a peace agreement in 1979 and maintain close security ties. Fighting along their shared border is rare.

The Justice Deparment has concluded its probe into classified douments found in the home of former Vice President Mike Pence. The DOJ says it will not bring charges against Pence, great news for the former VP who’s just days away from making an expected entry into the 2024 presidential race. Pence’s team examined his home for documents earlier this year after classified materials turned up in the homes of President Biden and former President Trump.

The Senate has passed a bill rejecting President Biden’s student debt relief plan. The 52-46 vote comes with help from Democrats Joe Manchin, and Jon tester, as well as Independent Kyrsten Sinema. Republicans argued the policy unfairly burdens taxpayer who paid off their own student loans, or never attended college. For the president , it’s a sharp rebuke from his own party in the Democrat controlled Senate, but he’s promised a veto and neither the House nor Senate will be able to muster the 2/3 majority needed to override.

South Carolina senator Tim Scott [R-SC] say’s he’ll vote against the deal, because it leaves open the possibility President biden will unilaterally increase spending. A provision in the agreement allows the president’ director of the Office of Management Budget to waive the agreed-upon spending limits for virtually any reason. Senator Scott says he doesn’t trust Biden to have what he calls “an open checkbook, no limit on the credit card until the end of his term.”

Former Vice President Mike Pence is blasting the LA Dodgers for re-inviting an LGBT pride group that mocks Catholics to its “Pride Night” festivities later this month. In a story characterized by backlash and flip-flops the Dodgers first invited, then uninvited the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence to it’s Pride Night on June 16h., only to finally settle on re-inviting them to take part in the team’s Pride Night festivities..” Pence calls it deeply offensive to invite the group which usesdrag and religious images to protest for LGBTQ acceptance.

There’s good news for Republicans on the senate race in West Virginia. West Virginia governor Jim Justice [R-WV] leads Democrat Joe Manchin by 22 points in a hypothetical senate matchup, according to a new poll. Justice tops Manchin 54%-32% among likely West Virginia voters in the poll from East Carolina University. The same poll gives Justice a job approval rating of 57%, compared to just 33% for Manchin. Manchin’s seat is on a short-list of those Republicans hope to flip in 2024.

A new report says Anheuser-Busch has most more than 15-BILLION dollars since it’s decision to embrace the LGBT-Q agenda. Investor’s Business Daily says the the company’s market value has plummeted 15.7 BILLION dollars since April. Hillary Clinton says Senator Diane Feinstein [D-Cal] should ignore calls to resign due her declining health. Clinton -herself a former New York senator- says Feinstein’s departure would allow Republicans to block a replacement on the Senate Judiciary Committee. In an interview with Time magazine Clinton said “… if we’re going to get judges confirmed, which is one of the most important continuing obligations that we have, then we cannot afford to have her seat vacant,”.

Senate Minority leader Mitch McConnell told reporters in his home state Tuesday “I think everybody needs to relax.” He says the current situation—Republicans demanding spending and other concessions-has been part of all recent debt-limit talks. Something McConnell says is not onky common but -quote-“almost entirely required when you have divided government.” Predicting a compromise bill will evenetually be passed by a bi-partisan vote in both the House and Senate said with confidence “The county will not default.”

Senator Scott [R-FL] has issued what he calls a “formal travel advisory for socialists visiting Florida,” In a press release he writes ““Travelers should be aware that attempts to spread Socialism in north Florida will fail and be met with laughter and mockery.” Scott’s warning comes in parody of a travel advisory issued by the NAACP warning blacks not to travel to Florida which it claims has become hostile to African Americans under the Republican leadership of Governor Ron DeSantis.
