(Cape Canaveral, FL) — The NASA SpaceX Crew-13 has made it to the International Space Station, and one astronaut brought a 100-year-old heirloom to space. Joshua Kutryk, a fourth-generation Ukrainian-Canadian, has a pocket watch with him because it’s a family heirloom and reminds him of how far his family and the world have come. He said at a prelaunch news conference in August “how much more could change if we do things right in the next hundred?” It took seven hours and 50 minutes for the crew to reach the ISS.
