New York Yankees infielder Jazz Chisholm Jr. was removed from Saturday’s game against the Baltimore Orioles in the fifth inning when he was hit by a pitch in the left elbow.

X-rays on his forearm came back negative, and he will undergo a CT scan, the Yankees announced.

Chisholm was hit by an offering from Baltimore Orioles left-hander Grant Wolfram and was immediately replaced at first base by Jose Caballero. He was 0-for-2 before leaving the game.

Chisholm, 27, is batting .244 with 31 home runs and 80 RBIs in 128 games for the Yankees this season. In six major leagues seasons with the Miami Marlins (2020-24) and Yankees, he is a career .248 hitter with 108 home runs and 308 Rbis in 577 games.
