(SRN NEWS)- Jesus told his disciples to lay up treasure in heaven, rather than here on earth, but that message doesn’t seem to be reaching some people. According to a global poll released by the Pew Research Center, the wealthier a country is, the less likely that the population considers religion to be important. In rich countries such as Singapore and the Netherlands, religion is being abandoned while it is embraced in poorer nations such as Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
