Wall St opens muted after record highs, on track for weekly gains

(Reuters) – Wall Street indexes opened subdued on Friday after notching record highs in the previous session, though they remained on track to log gains in a week of economic reports that solidified expectations for interest rate cuts.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 30.9 points, or 0.07%, at the open to 46,077.14. The S&P 500 rose 3.2 points, or 0.05%, to 6,590.66​, while the Nasdaq Composite rose 35.6 points, or 0.16%, to 22,078.629.
