Wall Street Closes With Stocks Higher

(New York, NY) — Wall Street is closing with stocks higher to start the month of October. Oil prices saw a jump today, with Brent crude trading around four-point-six percent higher at a little over 102-dollars barrel. U.S. West Texas Intermediate futures rose about three-percent to around 93-dollars. Elsewhere, Micron’s shares were down today despite reporting better-than-expected quarterly results. At the closing bell, the Dow Jones Industrial Average added 20 points to 50-926. The S&P 500 gained 14 points to 76-66. The Nasdaq rose 10 points to 26-871.
