Tyler Herro practiced with the Miami Heat on Sunday and could be ready to make his season debut in a week.

An All-Star in 2024-25, Herro has yet to play this season after undergoing surgery on his left foot and ankle in September. He told reporters Sunday that he is a week or two away from returning to game action.

Bam Adebayo also participated in Sunday’s practice after missing the past five games with a left big toe sprain. Adebayo is questionable for Monday’s home game against the New York Knicks.

Herro, 25, has averaged 19.4 points, 5.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists in 361 career games (217 starts) with the Heat since being drafted 13th overall in 2019.

Herro was the NBA Sixth Man of the Year in 2021-22 and ranks second in franchise history with 984 3-pointers.

Adebayo, 28, averaged 19.9 points with 8.1 rebounds over the first eight games of the season. In nine NBA seasons, all with the Heat, he has averaged 15.8 points with 8.9 rebounds over 575 games (471 starts).
