(Chicago, IL) — President Trump is calling the arrests of five men suspected of planning a terror attack on a U.S. air base in England, “fantastic” news. Speaking to reporters in Chicago today, he said the group had been looking to do “big damage” and had been under investigation by British and U.S. authorities.
British police said they made the arrests early Sunday acting on a tip about three suspicious vehicles heading towards RAF Fairford in western England. Prime Minister Andy Burnham said counter terrorism police are leading the investigation and working to establish the full facts of the case.
