Trump Expects More Iran Talks After Proposal Rejection

(Washington, DC) — President Trump says he expects more talks to take place this week with Iran. It comes after he turned away a ceasefire proposal over the weekend. In a phone interview with Axios, Trump said Iran wants to make a deal but it’s not a deal that he wants to make. The President added it’s a deal they would have maybe agreed to a year ago, but Iran overplayed their hand. Trump said he’s always thinking about resuming strikes as the war has been raging for seven months.
