Dec 2 (Reuters) – Online travel platform Klook plans to list in the US early next year, Bloomberg News reported on Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

Klook had previously considered listing in New York by the end of 2025, the report said, adding that, it now expects after the holiday season, when appetite for new listings picks up.

Weak debuts by peers like Navan have also encouraged Klook to hold off until next year, Bloomberg reported, cautioning that deliberations are ongoing and plans may change.

Klook declined a Reuters request for comment.

Founded in 2014, Klook offers bookings for tours, attractions, transport and other travel experiences globally, it competes with global platforms such as Booking.com, TripAdvisor, China’s Trip.com and South Korea’s Yanolja.

The Hong Kong-based company, backed by investors including SoftBank Group and Goldman Sachs filed for its U.S. initial public offering on November 10.

The travel booking services company could raise around $500 million in the IPO, sources told Reuters earlier this year.
