Tennessee Titans running back Tyjae Spears will make his season debut and wide receiver Calvin Ridley will also suit up for Sunday’s game at the Arizona Cardinals.
Spears, 24, began the season on injured reserve after sustaining a high ankle sprain in the Titans’ preseason opener. He returned to practice for the first time Wednesday.
A third-round pick in the 2023 draft, Spears has rushed for 765 yards and six touchdowns in his first two seasons with Tennessee, averaging 4.2 yards per carry.
Ridley was back at practice Friday after missing Wednesday and Thursday with knee and elbow injuries. After posting 1,017 yards and four touchdowns in his first season in Tennessee and each of his last three full seasons, the 30-year-old receiver has gotten off to a slow start, managing just 10 catches for 141 yards and no touchdowns in the first four games of the 2025 season.
The Titans (0-4) entered Week 5 with a league-worst 494 passing yards as No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward has struggled to generate production at the onset of his NFL career.
Offensive linemen JC Latham (hip) and Blake Hance (shoulder), wide receiver Bryce Oliver (knee) and safety Mike Brown (knee) were ruled out.
For the Cardinals, defensive tackle Darius Robinson (pectoral), cornerback Max Melton (hamstring) and left guard Evan Brown (hamstring) will miss the game.
