Three people killed in fire at India’s Sadhana Nitro Chem Specialty’s plant

BENGALURU (Reuters) – Indian specialty chemicals maker Sadhana Nitro Chem Specialty said three contract workers lost their lives after fire broke out in the company’s plant in Roha, a town in western state of Maharashtra.

Three other contract workers sustained minor injuries and are receiving medical treatment, the company said.

The company said it expects to incur 1 million rupees ($11,917.25) of damage from the incident.
