Three New York churches have been vandalized

(SRN NEWS)-Two Protestant houses of worship and one Catholic one were defaced with graffiti this week by a suspect described as brandishing a rainbow Gay Pride flag.  All three of the churches in Queens were marked with phrases accusing the congregation of being anti-homosexual.  Police are investigating the incident as a hate crime.  Attacks on churches in the U.S. have been up sharply in recent years with some being burned to the ground.
