HOUSTON (Reuters) -Three people were killed and two others injured in an accident at an LNG plant under construction in Texas on Tuesday, according to the lead contractor, Bechtel.

“All work at the site was immediately stopped following the incident, and we have sent all craft professionals home early to be with their families during this difficult time,” Bechtel said .

The two survivors who were injured have been released from the hospital, Sempra said in a statement.
