March 1 (Reuters) – At least three people died and 14 were injured following a mass shooting at a bar in Austin, Texas, early on Sunday, police said.
The suspect was killed in an exchange of fire with police at the scene, police said, adding that 14 people were in hospital, three of whom were in a critical condition.
Police did not release the identity of the shooter or make any comment on the shooter’s motive.
Mass shootings in the United States, which has some of the most permissive gun laws in the developed world, are more common than in most other countries.
