BRUSSELS (Reuters) – Three Belgian soldiers from one of the country’s parachute regiments were injured while on exercise in Scotland, said Belgian Prime Minister Bart de Wever in a post on X on Monday.

He did not provide details.

Belgium is planning to increase its total defence spending to 2% of its gross domestic product (GDP) this year, which is the minimum level agreed among NATO allies.
