(SRN NEWS) – The list of countries that repress religious liberty includes familiar names, such as Burma, China, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia, and Saudi Arabia.
The U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom recommends that the State Department designate Afghanistan, India, Nigeria and Vietnam as violators.
It also urges the Trump administration to appoint a new ambassador-at-large for international religious freedom.
