(SRN NEWS)-The federal statue outlaws sex discrimination in the schools and was designed to make sure that girls get the opportunity to play sports, amongst other things. The Biden administration decided that lawmakers who passed Title Nine back in 1972 intended it to cover transgenderism, allowing boys to play on girls sports teams. This week the Education Department formally repealed that understanding, returning Title Nine to its traditional interpretation.
