Woman Killed in Hezbollah Rocket Strike as Missile Fire Injures Several Across Country

By The Media Line Staff

A woman in her 30s was killed, and several others were injured in rocket and missile attacks across northern and southern Israel on Tuesday, as continued fire struck civilian areas and caused casualties and damage.

First responders said the woman was killed in a Hezbollah rocket impact at the Mahanayim Junction in northern Israel. Magen David Adom medics pronounced her dead at the scene and treated two additional people who were lightly wounded by shrapnel.

Shortly after the fatal strike, further sirens sounded across the north, signaling additional incoming fire. In Safed, two people were lightly injured by glass shards as rockets struck the area.

In a separate incident in southern Israel, a staff doctor at Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba was wounded when munitions fragments fell near his home following the interception of an Iranian missile near Nevatim.

Soroka Medical Center said the doctor, Asra Abu Rafa, in his 30s, had just returned home from a shift when the incident occurred in the Bedouin village of Alsira. He was listed in moderate condition. His wife and infant daughter were reported to be in good condition.

The hospital also said it was treating 17 other individuals suffering from severe anxiety following the attack.

The incidents came amid continued rocket and missile fire targeting multiple areas, with emergency services responding to impacts and injuries in both northern and southern regions.

Medical teams and first responders remained active across affected areas, providing treatment to the wounded and assessing additional impact sites following the attacks.
