IDF Reports Targeting 3 Palestinians Who Crossed Yellow Line in Gaza

By The Media Line Staff

The IDF reported two incidents on Saturday in which three suspects were killed after crossing the Yellow Line in the southern Gaza Strip during the ceasefire period.

According to the military, the first confrontation occurred early in the morning when two men entered the restricted zone and were seen carrying out what troops described as “suspicious activities on the ground.” Soldiers said the pair continued moving toward their position, leading commanders to assess an immediate threat. The Israel Air Force struck the two men shortly afterward, killing them.

A second incident occurred later that morning. In that case, troops identified a man who crossed the boundary and advanced toward Israeli forces operating in the area. He was shot and killed after being detected.

A separate update describing the same events said troops acted to “remove the threat” in both cases after identifying individuals approaching soldiers inside the restricted perimeter.

The military said both incidents fit the same pattern: individuals entering a restricted zone and advancing toward troops who remain in Gaza as part of ongoing security activity. Forces emphasized that the Yellow Line is marked as a no-go area for civilians during the ceasefire, and that residents have been instructed repeatedly not to approach military positions.

The IDF said its forces remain deployed along the Yellow Line and will continue to respond to any approach that endangers troops during the ceasefire.
