By The Media Line Staff

Shrapnel fell near Israel’s central Ben Gurion Airport, grounding flights, after a ballistic missile was launched at Israel from Yemen on Sunday.

The Israel Defense Forces confirmed the launch, which set off sirens and emergency alerts across central Israel. The missile, fired by the Iran-backed Houthi rebels, marked the fourth such attack since Friday,

The IDF said it is investigating the results of interception efforts, including the impact at the airport.

Over the weekend, the Houthis also launched two drones at Israel, both of which were intercepted by air defense systems, according to Israeli military officials.
