1919 FERY, LAST BRITON STANDING, REACHES QUARTERS

Arthur Fery, the last British singles player left in the draw, beat fellow wildcard Grigor Dimitrov 7-5 3-6 4-6 6-4 7-6(10-7) to reach the quarter-finals of a Grand Slam for the first time.

1850 FRITZ BEATS BUBLIK

Last year’s semi-finalist Taylor Fritz beat 10th seed Alexander Bublik 7-6(1) 6-4 6-4 to reach the last eight.

1644 NOSKOVA DEFEATS KEYS

Ninth seed Linda Noskova beat former Australian Open champion Madison Keys 6-4 7-6(2) to reach Wimbledon’s quarter-finals for the first time.

World number 17 and 2024 Wimbledon finalist Jasmine Paolini ended Alexandra Eala’s trailblazing Wimbledon campaign, defeating the 21-year-old Filipina 6-4 4-6 6-3.

1542 COBOLLI OUSTS DE MINAUR  

Italian ninth seed and 2026 French Open finalist Flavio Cobolli marched into the Wimbledon quarter-finals for the second successive year with a 7-5 7-6(4) 6-3 win over Australian fifth seed Alex de Minaur.

1446 MERTENS DEFEATS BOUZKOVA 

Belgian 25th seed Elise Mertens, who beat world number two Elena Rybakina in the last round, overcame Czech 21st seed Marie Bouzkova 6-4 6-4 to book her maiden Wimbledon quarter-finals ticket.   

1233 KOSTYUK TAKES DOWN KRUEGER  

French Open semi-finalist and Ukrainian 12th seed Marta Kostyuk brushed aside American qualifier Ashlyn Krueger 6-4 6-4 to reach Wimbledon quarter-finals for the first time.
