States are getting worried about gambling

(SRN NEWS)-Clergymen and Evangelical leaders have been decrying America’s wholesale embrace of betting for at least a decade but now some lawmakers are listening.  Specifically, legislatures in a growing number of states are considering whether they should ban betting on elections, for fear such activity could actually affect the outcomes.  Trading markets such as Kalshi and Polymarket let people make wagers on the vote and the midterms are just about four months away.
