(SRN NEWS) – 22 Republican AGs are calling on the American Academy of Pediatrics to stop telling parents that puberty-blocking drugs have no side effects.

Ever since 2018 the AAP has been saying that the use of such drugs to help a child live as the opposite sex is “reversible” and will not leave the youngster with any long-term side-effects.

But the attorneys general point to new studies that show puberty-blockers cause a number of problems that can stay with a patient for life.
