(Reuters) -Chipmaker Skyworks Solutions on Thursday named insider Robert Schriesheim as interim finance chief, after Mark Dentinger decided not to join the Apple supplier as previously announced.

Dentinger, who was set to take over as CFO on June 2, will not be joining due to a medical condition, the company said. It has begun searching for a permanent finance chief.

Schriesheim has been a director at Skyworks since 2006 and has experience in the software, communications and semiconductor sectors, among others.

Earlier this month, Skyworks forecast third-quarter revenue and profit above Wall Street estimates, signaling resilient demand for its analog chips despite ongoing trade tensions.

Skyworks forecast third-quarter revenue between $920 million and $960 million, with the mid-point higher than the analysts’ estimate of $922 million, according to data compiled by LSEG.

It sees adjusted profit of $1.24 per share for the quarter, above the analysts’ estimate of $1.06 per share.
