SCOTUS Reconvenes Today

(Washington, DC) — The U.S. Supreme Court reconvenes today and will be hearing several high-profile cases in its new term. Coming up first, the high court will hear arguments in a case out of Colorado that centers on whether lawsuits seeking to hold fossil fuel companies responsible for climate change can move forward in state courts. Also to be considered today is whether federal courts have the authority to review disputes involving veterans’ benefits.
