(SRN NEWS)-Lawmakers have given preliminary approval to a suicide bill, moving it on to the next stage which includes an opportunity to fine tune the language.  Pro-life advocates and clergymen are decrying the measure, but admit that at this point it’s probably inevitable that it will be voted into law.  Meanwhile, similar legislation is under consideration in England and it is feared that it will ultimately be passed as well.  Assisted suicide is already legal in several European countries.
