The Portland Trail Blazers locked up a couple of key pieces Sunday, signing guard Shaedon Sharpe and forward Toumani Camara to four-year extensions worth $90 million and $82 million, respectively, multiple outlets reported on Sunday.

The deals would keep both players in Portland through the 2029-30 season.

Sharpe averaged a career-best 18.5 points last season, second on the Blazers behind Anfernee Simons. He also averaged 4.5 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 72 games with 52 starts.

The 22-year-old Sharpe was selected seventh overall in the 2022 NBA Draft and has seven career games with at least 30 points, the most by any Trail Blazers player before turning 22.

Camara earned NBA All-Defensive second-team honors last season in his second NBA season. He averaged 11.3 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.5 steals in 78 games (all starts).

Camara, 25, was a late second-round pick (No. 52 overall) by the Phoenix Suns in the 2023 draft. He was sent to Portland along with since-departed Deandre Ayton as part of the three-way trade in which then-star Damian Lillard (now back with Portland) was sent to the Milwaukee Bucks.

Sharpe graduated early from high school and intended to redshirt at Kentucky for a season. However, he ended up entering the draft without ever playing for the Wildcats. Camara split his college career with two seasons apiece at Georgia and Dayton.

Portland opens the season on Wednesday night against the visiting Minnesota Timberwolves.
