Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Jermaine Burton was suspended one game without pay and will not play Sunday against the Buffalo Bills, multiple media outlets reported.

Burton, who did not travel with the team to Orchard Park, N.Y., was inactive for non-injury-related reasons. He will lose a game check of $59,320.88, per NFL Network.

A specific reason for Burton’s suspension was not provided by the team.

Burton, 24, has not played at all this season after catching four passes for 107 yards in 14 games during his rookie campaign. He was selected by the Bengals in the third round of the 2024 NFL Draft out of Alabama.

In addition to Burton, the Bengals (4-8) listed the following players as inactive for Sunday’s game: star defensive end Trey Hendrickson, quarterback Jake Browning, tight end Cam Grandy and defensive tackle Jordan Jefferson.

As for the Bills (8-4), they listed offensive tackles Spencer Brown and Chase Lundt, wide receiver Josh Palmer, linebacker Terrel Bernard, defensive end Joey Bosa, defensive back Darnell Savage and defensive tackle Phidarian Mathis as out.
