Report: 2026 NWSL title game set for Nov. 21 at D.C.’s Audi Field

The 2026 NWSL Championship game will be played on Nov. 21 at Audi Field in Washington, D.C., The Athletic reported Tuesday.
It is the first time the title contest will be held in the nation’s capital, at the home of the Washington Spirit, since the 2022 season. The Portland Thorns defeated the Kansas City Current 2-0 before a crowd of 17,624 in that one.
The NWSL declined to comment on the report.
The only other venue to host multiple championship matches since the inaugural 2013 season is Providence Park in Portland, Ore. (2015, 2018).
Eight teams will qualify for the playoffs in the expanded 16-team league, with quarterfinal and semifinal rounds leading up to the title game.
