(SRN NEWS)- ) A divided panel of appeals court judges has ruled that a Trump administration policy illegally banned transgender troops from military service. The decision by a three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia circuit partially upholds a March 2025 ruling by a lower court judge. The panel’s new ruling would keep the military from kicking out current service members named in the lawsuit, but wouldn’t allow new transgender recruits to join. The judges put their decision on hold, however, to let the administration seek further review. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth indicates an appeal is coming.

Braxton says she’s noticed some investment firms pulling back, following companies such as Anheuser-Busch and Walmart. Experts say young people are especially vulnerable to sex-trafficking and pornography on social media and a growing number of countries are taking action. Here in the U.S., family advocates want the government to do more.
( ) Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney says that his country is failing Jewish people and the community is being brutally targeted by hate. Carney says anti-Semitism in Canada has surged to levels not seen in the post-World War Two era. He adds that last year over two-thirds of all religion-motivated hate crimes were directed at Jews, despite the fact that they make up just one percent of the population. In recent months, anti-Semites in Canada have fired bullets at Jewish schools and thrown firebombs at synagogues and attacked community centers. They have targeted Jewish-owned businesses and drove Jewish students from common spaces.
