(  )  Netflix is pushing the gay agenda on kids.  That’s the assertion of Concerned Women for America after conducting research into the giant streaming platform’s programming.  According to an analysis by CWA, 41 percent of Netflix G-rated shows and 41 percent of those rated for kids down to the age of seven, contain LGBT messages and story lines.  CWA tells the Christian Post “Netflix’s children’s programming has been infiltrated by adult preoccupations with sexual preferences and gender identity.”  Some experts say that the federal government should step in and provide some kind of limits on the kinds of shows that streamers can sell to kids.
(  )  While the Supreme Court considers the issue of males competing against females in school sports, the people have made up their minds.  An AP-NORC poll finds that about six-in-10 adults “strongly” or “somewhat” favor state laws that bar boys from playing on girls sports teams.  Just two-in-10 are “strongly” or “somewhat” opposed to such laws and about one-quarter of poll respondents do not have an opinion.  About half the states now have statues banning males from female athletics.  The Supreme Court is expected to release its decision sometime this summer and legal experts say it has the potential to be a landmark ruling.

(  )  China continues its crackdown on unregistered house churches.  According to a report by China Aid, local authorities in Chengdu have been arresting numerous members of the Early Rain Covenant Church — a large house congregation in the city.  The report states that “these actions demonstrate that, in China, the boundaries of Christian space are not determined solely by explicit legal provisions.  They are instead continually tightened or reshaped in response to changes in the political and social environment and officials’ will.”  Despite persecution the underground church in China is growing fast, with millions of adherents.

(  )  New York’ Jewish community is responding with outrage after Muslim demonstrators gathered outside a synagogue in Queens chanting slogans in support of Hamas.  The demonstrators were heard to chant “We are Hamas” and “Long live October 7th” — a reference to the devastating 2023 attack on Israel.  A number of New York City officials have publicly denounced the protest.  Comptroller Mark Levine says “There is no ambiguity here. This is support of a terrorist organization. This cannot be normalized and excused.”  Jewish owned businesses near the synagogue closed their doors during the demonstration on the advice of police.
