(  )  Samaritan’s Purse is rushing aid to flood-stricken Nepal.  A 767 cargo plane from the giant Christian relief agency has landed in Kathmandu carrying over 40 tons of desperately needed supplies.  These include heavy duty tarps, blankets, water filters, hygiene kits, and solar lights.  Samaritan’s Purse has also reached out to trusted partners on the ground to get real-time assessments and target its response.  Ministry president Franklin Graham says “The devastation in Nepal is unimaginable.  We’re all heartbroken to see the death toll continue to climb, and many families are still waiting for news of their missing loved ones.”

(  )  Anti-Semitism is on the rise in Spain.  The country’s Jewish umbrella organization reports that anti-Semitic incidents increased by about 15 percent last year.  The Federation of Jewish Communities of Spain says 221 incidents were reported in 2025 in a country that is home to some 70,000 Jews.  In fact, anti-Semitism is up all around the world and some of the worst attacks have taken place in Western Europe, a region that has spent decades trying to eradicate the problem.  Western Europe has also admitted millions of Muslim refugees in recent years, and some critics say there’s a connection between that decision and the spike in attacks on Jews.
