(SRN NEWS) – President Trump is making good on his promise to end the war on Christianity being waged by leftists in government. Mr. Trump has signed an executive order on eradicating anti-Christian bias. The order aims to “protect the religious freedoms of Americans and end the anti-Christian weaponization of government” by identifying anti-Christian conduct and recommending policy changes. This month Secretary of State Marco Rubio instructed employees in the State Department to report any incidents of such bias that occurred during the Biden administration. He’s promising an investigation.
Some parents in a suburban Maryland county want to pull their children from elementary school classes that use books promoting the LGBT lifestyle. The parents say they object for religious reasons. The Montgomery County school system has refused and now the U.S. Supreme Court will decide. Arguments in the case are set for Tuesday before the justices. The conservative-majority court has repeatedly endorsed claims of religious discrimination in recent years. The parents say all they want is the chance to opt their children out of lessons using the LGBT books. They are not seeking to ban the books for others.
A federal judge has partially blocked the Trump administration from enacting a policy that bans the use of the “X” marker used by so-called non-binary people on passports as well as the changing of gender markers. District Judge Julia Kobick, who was appointed by President Biden, sided with the American Civil Liberties Union’s motion for a preliminary injunction, which stays the action while the lawsuit plays out. It requires the State Department to allow six transgender and nonbinary people who are plaintiffs in the lawsuit to obtain passports with sex designations of their choice.
The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission is reportedly putting all transgender discrimination cases on the back burner. It’s all part of President Trump’s effort to rid the federal government of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion programs and end the practice of promoting transgenderism. The EEOC received more than 3,000 charges alleging discrimination based on sexual orientation or so-called “gender identity” in fiscal year 2024, and another 3,000-plus in 2023. Agency employees say transgender claims are now being labeled as “without merit”.
