(SRN NEWS) – The Polish government says it will not seek to arrest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at this month’s events marking the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz concentration camp.  The need for this unusual announcement was prompted by the International Criminal Court, which has declared Netanyahu a war criminal over Israel’s battle with Hamas.  The 15-month Gaza War was triggered by the 2023 attack by Hamas on Israel which killed more than 1,000 civilians, including men, women, children and infants.

The New Mexico Supreme Court has struck down abortion restrictions by conservative cities and counties at the request of the state attorney general.  The unanimous opinion reinforces the state’s reputation for having some of the most liberal abortion laws in the country.  New Mexico has also become a major destination for women from pro-life states who are determined to end their pregnancies.  In September, construction began on a state-funded abortion clinic in the southern part of the state that will cash in on what’s being called “abortion tourism”.

The director of the Texas Medical Board has retired, less than two weeks after conservative lawmakers publicized his employment with a Planned Parenthood laboratory.  Dr. Robert Bredt had worked as medical director for the state agency since 2012.  According to his resumé, he also worked at Planned Parenthood’s South Texas Laboratory since 2011.  Republican state Representative Brian Harrison posted Bredt’s resumé on X after it became public during an administrative hearing and demanded that the doctor step down.

The Biden administration’s Title Nine rules expansion designed to promote transgenderism has now been struck down nationwide.  A federal judge in Kentucky has found that the president overstepped his authority in issuing the rules.  In fact, the Biden plan had already been halted in 26 states after a wave of legal challenges. The president was seeking to enshrine transgenderism in the public schools, responding to efforts by several states to bar males from using female restrooms and locker rooms and to keep boys off of girls’ sports teams.
