(SRN NEWS) – A group of artists are complaining about a Florida law that requires government contractors to affirm they are not engaged in a boycott of Israel.  The measure has been on the books for years but is now sparking concerns among some pro-Palestinian artists who want to be free to protest Israel and still have access to public funding.  Florida is actually just one of more than 30 states that block government agencies from hiring companies that boycott Israel.  Anti-Semitism has surged in the U.S. since the Hamas attack on the Jewish State in late 2023.

The Human Rights Campaign continues to push corporate America to embrace the LGBT agenda, even as the country experiences a backlash against left-wing policies.  The HRC is beginning the new year with a call for businesses to establish anti-discrimination policies that encompass sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression.  The advocacy group also wants health benefits that cover same-sex spouses and sex-change operations.  Another demand is that every business adopt so-called “gender transition guidelines”.

An LGBT advocate has been convicted of injuring an officer with a homemade explosive at a 2023 campus protest over transgenderism at the University of Pittsburgh.  Brian DiPippa has been sentenced to five years in prison.  His wife will serve three years of probation for her role in the incident.  The couple were part of a group protesting an April 2023 panel sponsored by the Pitt College Republicans that featured speakers opposed to transgenderism.  A campus police officer suffered burns to her legs, hearing loss and back injuries that required surgery.
