President Trump pardons nearly two dozen pro-life protesters

WHITE HOUSE (SRN News) – President Trump pardoned nearly two dozen pro-life protesters Thursday during a signing ceremony in the Oval Office.

On the eve of the annual March for Life in Washington, Trump granted pardons to 23 people convicted and imprisoned under the Freedom of Clinic Access (FACE) Act.

Many of them are elderly people,” Trump told reporters. ” They shouldn’t have been prosecuted.”

Trump said, “it’s an honor to sign this.”

Pro-life groups are cheering the president’s action, including SBA Pro-Life America.

We thank President Trump for immediately delivering on his promise to free pro-life protesters who targeted and imprisoned by Biden’s Department of Justice,” said SBA President Marjorie Dannenfelser.
