The Pittsburgh Pirates signed outfielder Tommy Pham to a one-year deal on Sunday.

Pham, 36, had a combined nine home runs, 39 RBIs, 49 runs and a .248 batting average across 116 games with the Chicago White Sox, St. Louis Cardinals and Kansas City Royals in 2024.

In 1,121 games across 11 major league seasons, Pham has totaled 139 home runs, 470 RBIs, 608 runs and 126 stolen bases. He has a .258 career average and .773 OPS.

The 6-foot-1 left fielder is a .315 hitter (41-for-130) with six homers in 37 career playoff games. He was 5-for-15 in the 2024 postseason as a member of the Royals.

The Pirates will be Pham’s 10th MLB team after stops with St. Louis (2014-18 and 2024), the Tampa Bay Rays (2018-19), San Diego Padres (2020-21), Cincinnati Reds (2022), Boston Red Sox (2022), New York Mets (2023), Arizona Diamondbacks (2023), White Sox and Royals.

In 2017, the Las Vegas native was 11th in National League MVP voting after posting career highs in homers (23), RBIs (73), stolen bases (25), batting average (.306), and OPS (.931).

The Pirates placed Dauri Moreta, a right-handed pitcher, on the 60-day injured list to make room for Pham on the 40-man roster.
