Lucas Glover has been elected as the Player Advisory Council chairman for the 2026 calendar year by the PGA Tour’s voting membership.
A vocal critic of the direction of the PGA Tour in recent years, Glover was given the nod Wednesday over current chairman Adam Scott to oversee the 16-player consulting body.
Following his one-year stint as chairman, Glover will replace Scott and serve a four-year term on the PGA Tour policy board from 2027-30.
Glover, 46, previously labeled the PAC “a waste of time” and “useless,” noting that the PGA Tour was “going to do what they’re going to do.” He appears to have changed his tune.
“At this point in my career, it’s not like I can stand on the range all day and hit balls,” Glover said, per Golfweek. “So I’ve got time, and there’s enough guys that want my voice in there to be heard, that I should probably do it.”
Glover has recorded six wins on the PGA Tour, highlighted by his triumph at the 2009 U.S. Open.
