(Surf City, NJ) — Over 40-million people on the Northeast coast are feeling the impact of a major storm. Coastal areas of New York and New Jersey are under a state of emergency as a powerful nor’easter lashes the Northeast. Hundreds of flights have been canceled as winds in the region gust over 60 miles an hour and flooded roads make driving treacherous. Poweroutage.com says more than 100-thousand customers from Pennsylvania to Rhode Island have lost service because of the nor’easter.
