JERUSALEM (Reuters) -Indirect talks between Israel and Hamas that are taking place in Doha include discussions on ending the war as well as a truce and hostage deal proposal, a statement from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office said on Sunday.
Ending the war must include the demilitarisation of the Gaza Strip as well as the exile of Hamas militants, the statement said.
A senior Israeli official said there has been little progress in the talks so far.
