(SRN NEWS)-Women are having fewer children these days. The replacement rate for this country — the average number of births needed to equal deaths — is 2.1 and the U.S. rate is currently 1.6. And now a poll from the Pew Research Center finds that men and women in their 20’s and 30’s are planning to have FEWER kids than before. In 2012 most young adults hoped to have more than two children — now they plan to have LESS than two.
