MEXICO CITY (Reuters) – Mexico’s Security Minister Omar Garcia Harfuch confirmed on Wednesday the death of a staff investigator in the violence-racked city of Culiacan, where a deadly conflict pitting two factions of the Sinaloa Cartel has been playing out for months.
Garcia Harfuch confirmed the killing in a post on X after local media reported that his team had been shot at in Culiacan.
