Man attacks and injures three children in Zurich

ZURICH (Reuters) – A man attacked and injured three children in the Swiss city of Zurich on Tuesday before being arrested, local police said in a statement.
The violent attack occurred shortly after midday in the city’s northern Oerlikon district, according to the statement.
Local news website Zueritoday reported that the incident was linked to a day-care facility for children. Police cordoned off the immediate area, images in local media showed.
A police spokesperson could not immediately provide details on the severity of the children’s injuries or the suspect.
Police said there was no further danger to the public following the suspect’s arrest.
