Japan PM Ishiba’s cabinet support slides to 32%, Kyodo poll says

TOKYO (Reuters) – Public support for the cabinet of Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba tumbled 18.6 points from earlier this month to 32%, the Kyodo News agency said on Tuesday, citing its poll.
The survey also showed that 65.7% of respondents said it was not necessary for Ishiba to resign for failing to deliver a ruling majority in elections on Sunday.
