Iran’s supreme leader to lead funeral prayers for Hamas leader Haniyeh

(Reuters) – Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei will lead funeral prayers for Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh on Thursday, Iran’s state-run Press TV said.
The funeral will be held in the Iranian capital Tehran, Press TV added.
Haniyeh was assassinated in Tehran early on Wednesday morning, an attack that drew threats of revenge on Israel and fuelled further concern that the conflict in Gaza was turning into a wider Middle East war.
