MEXICO CITY, March 25 (Reuters) – The union representing workers at a General Motors plant in Silao, Mexico has proposed a 10% salary increase for the 2026-2028 contract, union leader told Reuters on Wednesday.
Alejandra Morales, head of SINTTIA, said workers will vote on the proposal April 9 and 10. The union has set a strike deadline for April 15 if an agreement with management is not met.
