BERLIN (Reuters) – Germany’s foreign ministry on Friday said it “strongly discouraged” citizens from travelling to Russia because of an increase in drone attacks on parts of the country in recent weeks and months, including the Moscow metropolitan area.
Drone attacks have so far caused limited material damage and the defence system around Moscow had been significantly expanded, but attacks on the public transport network remained a possibility, according to the statement on the German foreign ministry’s website.
