The Indiana Fever signed veteran guard Aerial Powers to a seven-day hardship contract on Saturday.

Powers, 31, appeared in two games earlier this season with the expansion Golden State Valkyries, who waived her on June 25.

Drafted No. 5 overall by Dallas in 2016, Powers has averaged 10.4 points and 3.3 rebounds in 192 games (56 starts) with the Wings (2016-18), Washington Mystics (2018-20), Minnesota Lynx (2021-23), Atlanta Dream (2024) and Valkyries.

She made the WNBA All-Rookie Team in 2016 and won a championship with the Mystics in 2019.

The short-handed Fever (19-17) have been playing without superstar Caitlin Clark (groin) and lost fellow guard Sophie Cunningham to a season-ending knee injury last weekend. Guard Odyssey Sims (undisclosed) is also day-to-day.
