Former Oklahoma forward Jalon Moore is recovering from surgery to repair a torn Achilles tendon sustained during a pre-draft workout.

A projected second-round pick in next week’s 2025 NBA Draft, Moore was injured during a recent visit with the San Antonio Spurs.

Moore’s agent, Mike Silverman of Equity Sports, confirmed details of the injury with ESPN on Saturday.

Moore, 22, is expected to make a full recovery but will miss most of the 2025-26 season.

The 6-foot-7 Moore averaged 15.9 points and 5.8 rebounds in 34 games (all starts) as a senior with the Sooners in 2024-25.

For his career, Moore averaged 10.6 points and 5.3 rebounds in 110 games (81 starts) at Georgia Tech (2021-23) and Oklahoma (2023-25). He shot 39.1 percent from 3-point range in two seasons with the Sooners.
